Clare’s octogenarian mentor, Madame, is in rare form. She will (no doubt) make you laugh at how she and an eccentric new friend help Clare sneak by a gargantuan guard and slip into an inner sanctum to interview a suspect.
This is an exciting, heart-tugging, and (at times) hilarious entry in our series, packed with personal stakes for Clare, her family, and her Village Blend found family.
It's also a story that (once again) grew out of our own experiences living and working in New York City with its hilarious frustrations and endlessly inspiring situations.
